The Konkokyo Independence Service was conducted by the Principal Mediator, Konko-Sama, in the Grand Ceremony Hall on June 9, 1:30pm. This service honors the official recognition of Konkokyo as an independent religious organization. As part of the ceremony was the rite recognition and appreciation for ministers who have served the Faith for 40 years. The Ordination ceremony for new ministers was also conducted.
